Revers Light Wire

II just bought some new revers light housings (reproductions) but they did not come with the light "socket" or the single wire. I went to NAPA today and could not find them. Does anyone know how to get this part so I can get my revers lights hooked up? Thanks.

Re: Revers Light Wire

Are these what your looking for? https://www.amazon.com/SAUTOP-Socket...ve&sr=1-3&th=1 The light housing grounds to the bed and the bed grounds to the frame. Good grounds are critical to making the lights work. The 1156 pigtail grounds to the light housing with a screw, the wire is the hot wire from the reverse switch on the column under the dash. "1156" is the bulb number. 1157 is a dual element bulb used in the tail light, 1156 is a single element bulb for the reverse lights.

Georgie, I had the same problem when I did mine and just used the originals. I just looked at LMC Truck and it appears they have what you need -

Thanks for the reply. That helps.

I will take a look at LMC. I am really just looking for an OEM style socket and wire, although I understand the purpose of a second wire for extra grounding. Thanks for replying.

Re: Revers Light Wire

I think it may be simplest to put a WTB ad for a set of originals including the cups.
