Awesome. Congratulations. You will be rolling in no time. That was nice of Santa to bring your stuff early. I'm not even aloud to see, hold, or anything. And have been told its not even being stored here whatever I'm getting. And its still up in the air. Could be coal.

I thought I would, I am taking my frame back apart though I am just not satisfied with the outcome plus I am going with a c-notch and am about convinced I will be doing the air bags. Minor setbacks but I think I will be glad I did it in the end.

Yes, this is true, I am going to box part of the frame in the back and do the c-notch, plus I was not real happy on how the paint came out on the frame. Will be changing the frame color to silver with black control arms and black rear axle.

Re: 68 project

Spent some time at the shop today. I recently decided I was not happy with the condition of the rear frame section from the coil spring perches back so I cut the rear frame off today and welded the new section back on. Also had a visitor drop in from the forum, Jhawk73 , it was great meeting him and seeing his sweet 72. That big block sounded good.

Re: 68 project

Will be heading to the shop here soon to finish welding up the frame today and start boxing it in. Time to turn the heat on this project if I am going to be driving it next summer.

Re: 68 project

A tutorial on my new dent removal, I love this tool. A tree limb had fallen on my hood and put a nice crease in it. As you will see in the first two pics.

Re: 68 project

First I take the 2" grinder and clean up the damaged area and mark the deepest part of the crease with a sharpie.
