Re: Post your short step side pics

Front 17 x 8 with 225/60
Rear 17 x 9 with 275/55

It took me a while to find the right combination to get the stance I was looking for and the same thread pattern front and rear

Pic from the purchase, although I could find numerous areas around the city where I could get a similar effect. It's a SC truck originally.

Re: Post your short step side pics

Joking really but it did look suspicious - so much fake news you know...
SC to AZ it should have pretty nice metal. Looks like a professional buffing/detail could make that paint look pretty nice and allow you to keep that very rare "survivor" status. Just do all the mechanical.

Sadly, I bought it site unseen (pics only). As I've done this enough times, I should have known better, but I don't think I would have cared as I wanted an original black short bed truck. It has a bunch of rot. The bed itself was pretty bad. Rockers, really bad. And then the transporter was inept and crashed a car on the transporter into the front of it, somehow, badly damaging a fender, a headlight, the grille, etc.

So, for as much as I wanted to keep the paint/patina (it had been repainted once in some areas, so it wasn't totally original), it's getting a total redo. At least I'm using single stage....
