no shoulder belt holes?
no lap belt holes?
no seat belt holes at all?

cab replaced?
extensive body work done inside the cab?

the lap belt bolts go through the rear cab support cross member I believe and the nuts are square and I believe they are tack welded or caged somehow (been a while)

the shoulder harness holes normally have plastic caps in the nut plate when belts weren't installed

outside of this, you most likely have a different or modified cab

good luck!

Does your SPID say "A62 Less Front Seat Belt"? These trucks came standard with seat belts in '72. Perhaps the carpet was replaced and is covering the holes? You can see them from underneath, but A62 maybe deletes the nuts, (which I do not know)?

Re: NO Seat Belt Holes in My 1972 C10.

When you replace the rear cab support and part of the rear floor you loose the location of the seat belt mounting bolt hole. It is 1 7/8 inboard from the pinch weld and 6 3/4 forward from the back wall. there is a semi circular piece of metal that will help locate the location for the bolt hole on the rear cab support.

Here are some pictures that I took. The 1st pic. is from the underside, RH side. it shows the nut. The 2nd picture is the underside on the left. It shows the replaced cab support with no seat belt hole or nut. The 3rd picture shows the inside of the cab on the RH side showing the hole location.

Here are some measurements of the retractor mounting holes, starting with the passenger side. Both sides are around 2-5/8" or 2-3/4" inboard of the inner rocker, and 3/4" forward of the cab mount.

72 didn't need seat belts those things are bullet proof Should be fixed nuts on the outside. I think they're square like most fixed nuts.
