47-50 door window fuzzies?

I'm converting 51 wing doors to early one piece glass , anyone have a close up pic of the window rubber and fuzzies ? inside looks easy...just 1 pc staple in... not sure about the outside...the 51 has a short piece of rubber in a groove below the widdow sill...so, what should go there now with the 1 pc window? any pics?

Skip-

My 1 piece windows have rubber (wiper) peice that you are referring to as well as the felt. I didn't staple mine back in. I just used some 3m double sides trim adhesive tape to hold them on. It worked great.

I will try to get you some pics of myset up tomorrow. I'm trying to solve a different problem. I have smooth glass (no metal) trim and the C-channel that I'm using might be too wide. I didn't notice until I recently tried mounting the interior window trim. It won't sit flush as it hits the c-channel.

Re: 47-50 door window fuzzies?

hmmmm, so the 1/4 inch channel you got from that guy is too wide? I WAS ACTUALY GONNA CALL THIS MORNING AND GET SOME, mine is a 51 door, I have regulators from a 49.thats the easy part,.I cut the top of the glass frame off (sounds like you did the same) so I have bare glass going in the felt channel..sooooI should be able to order stock 51 felts,, length might be ok..since I chopped the top... gonna use the stock rear glass guide, and cut the old channel from the vent window for the front....also for the 6 inch piece of regulator guide that gets welded to the door(just below the armrest)
the bottom channel from the original small 51 glass will work, just cut it to length.
as far as he fuzzies, the inside pc from 47-50 should work, but for the outside, the channel in the 51 stops where the vent window used to be, so, I'm looking at either making that channel longer(pita!) or using somthing different..
