240 emails

I just cleared out my "Promotions' email folder the other day. Today it had 240 emails in it.

It seems that all these people want to talk to me. Sorry but they all got deleted.

I didn't get any emails from my kids. They must be too busy.

My controller's email at work got hacked once and I got 1700+ of the same Viagra Ad supposedly from her. Should have seen her face when I brought it to her attention, she started stuttering and speaking in tongues as she turned 50 shades of red. A little later she came across the hall to my office... serious as she could be and asked me, "You don't really think I sent those do you"?

I hate email. I loathe it. I dispise sorting through tons of spam to find the 14 actual members that need help. I dont mind helping them, just the bs between. Thats all.. nothing more.

My question is. Does anybody ever buy anything from these annoying ads? I don't. The ones that really get me are the pharmaceutical ads telling you to tell your doctor to prescribe you some pills.

Excuse me? I didn't go to medical school. She did. Who am I to tell her what to do?

I'm no doctor. I've told women that I was trying to pick up on that I was. But that was a little false advertising on my part.

Radio, TV, and now internet all run off of advertising. We engage in them for what we want from them. But to the business world it is just another way to get their foot in your door. I guess I left the mail and telephones out. Mostly because neither were derived as being a means for advertising... originally. The phone is my biggest beef in all of it. I can ignore ads on radio, TV, and internet. I respond to every phone call, for obvious reasons. I ignore the solicitations, but I physically get the phone out and look for all calls.

My feelings exactly. I'm sure doctors appreciate patients telling them what meds they need.

Stop googling viagra ... it's a real pain if you look for sneakers you get a thousand adds and emails for shoes, socks and boots . Just about any search triggers it I've been getting texts lately on my phone someone must have sold/stole a list from a website I use .

Been looking into Duck Duck go as a search engine .

I get a phone call every day from Upland CA. which is the next town over from where I used to live. I lived on the Upland/Claremont border.

Every day my phone rings between 10:00 and 11:30. Always a different name on the caller ID but always from Upland. I've answered a couple of times and they immediately hang up. Then call again the next day and so on.

I have no idea what this scam is. Apparently they think I still live there and they never say a word.

I have a google mail account, and get many emails in my "promotions" folder. I do wood working and metal working, and belong to several forums. They feel obliged to send me updates, no matter how many times I them to **** off. The bad part is, sometimes my investment people's stuff ends up in there.

That's bad that it affects your clients. I can take whatever they do because I'm a (well you know) I don't care. Call me and I'll start talking about your mama. Try me.

And I'm sure my ex would love to see me dead. The only reason I'm still alive is to spite her.
