Power wires

So I am having charging issues with my 71 c10, the alternator looks damn near brand new, I do plan on taking it off and having it tested before I replace it. But the wiring looks like it was put together by a child, they have been spliced together by butt splicers! is there a place that I can find the ground, and power wires? I would like to replace them all, even if it is the alternator thats the issue.

Thanks
Mike

Re: Power wires

You can get a aftermarket engine bay wiring harness. They plug in right there at the firewall. Painless makes several.
