Running 400sbc 1972

Putting New motor in, the shop says the take out
Is a 1972 400. It runs fine, no smoke, no ticks?
The shop offered to buy it. What is a fair price?
Thanks

They didn't offer you a price? It really varies, but since they've heard it run I'd say at least $500.

He offered for me to drive out, complete including new transfer case install, new belts, hoses , other extras. Even swap. I said heck yeah. It would have cost 1200, just to swap out and put my new crate motor together. Seems very fair!

He's a good guy, been using his shop for 20 years. He probably only had 5-6 hundred in labor but we're both happy. She should be home in a week. Thanks Jody''s Garage!
