New guy from SE Missouri

[COLOR="RoyalBlue"]Hello everyone, I'm a newbe, My name is Ray and I live in SE Missouri. I'm always looking for information and new ideas for my projects, this seemed like a good place to be. I'm mostly into hot rods and customs and my project vehicles; a 1957 Chevy PU, a 1953 Chevy custom cab PU and a 50 Mercury. I'm hoping to build a new shop this year, I have a 30x50 SteelMaster Quonset building stored in my garage and just need to save money for the cement to finish it up. I started building hot rods in my junior year auto shop class at Downey High School Modesto CA, 1963. My first car and project was a 1951 Ford Victoria. I've already found some great ideas in the forum and I'm impressed with the quality work I see in the photos I have looked at. Looking forward to getting to know everyone./COLOR]

to the board from Mid-MO Ray!!!

You'll find this place to become your second home. Be sure to check out the Missouri/Midwest sections of the board as we occassionally have meet-n-greets throughout the state as well as meet up at various shows.

I travel through your part of the state probably once a month. What brought you from CA to southeastern MO?

I retired in 2001, have two daughter and seven grandchildren in SE MO. We planned on moving to Missouri for some time and found the perfect home in 2003. With family here and less restrictions on building hot rods, Missouri seemed like a good place to move. Both my trucks and my Mercury are all project cars with a long way to go, I'll see if I can dig up some pictures to post.
