some serious help needed. MN

i think i am in over my head. is this even repairable? i knew the coil spring cups where gone i just didnt know it was this bad. both sides if anyone in mn area would be willing to help me that would be awesome.

i have a set of vortec heads and rpm air gap intake that could be used for trade.
also have a nos cheater kit that i could trade for help. i have no money i can spend (besides materials and beer) as i have twins on the way

He's just Southeast of M/StP a ways.

It's repairable but I think I would try and find a different cross member, remove the rivets and bolt the new cross member in. If the frame has rust out underneath it would have to be repaired also.

Yep got the box off. Need crossmember and that bracket. Might enlist the help of a friend with a metal brake.... These parts are not available new as far as I know. The frame I can fix.

Re: some serious help needed. MN

I bet if you PM Teeitup, Randy, he may have one of those cross members. Or put a WTB ad on here and I bet you can get a frame patch and the cross member.

Re: some serious help needed. MN

It's all fixed now. I cut out and welded in frame repair pieces and then remade the coil spring mounts out of 1/8 inch sheet steel. Motor is back in. Made 518 hp and 500 torque!
