1964 GMC Parking brake strut bar

I have yet another part I cannot locate at least none closer than Canada, hate to pay more in shipping than the parts cost.My truck was missing every piece of the parking brakes except the handle and front cable. I still need to find the two strut bars so I can finally install the rear brakes and put on some wheels. This was a mouse house and smells to high heaven inside, so I have to get it out of the shop to air out to safely remove the seat, carpet and fuel tank.Running it off of a gas can for the time being. Does anyone know of a part number, interchangeable part or if they are the same as a Chevrolet?

The later year 12 bolt ones work, too. Take the ones shipped from Canada if you need to, they're not easy to find. I actually got mine from Bill's Truck Shop up here. All my parking brake hardware was missing. Lever, cables, parts in the drum. Replaced it all.

I am leaning toward just that, all other parts are available seems strange the simplest one is not.

Re: 1964 GMC Parking brake strut bar

Can I assume that is the same part number for a GMC?
