Deleted HVAC, what to do with vents?

I got rid of my factory HVAC equipment. What do folks do with the side ball vents and vent in the center of dash? Just leave them, or remove and block off the holes? Or put something else in there?

I would hide speakers behind the balls/vents. say 4"
Maybe make a storage slot for your phone where the center dash vent is if, it is only used for a/c.
I am keeping my A/c but the 1" tweeters are going in there, hidden out of sight and I will be able to aim them at me.

I got beat to it, but I'd say speakers. Or, I saw somebody put a gauge in the vent on the driver side. I can't remember what it was for, but thought it was a good idea.

reading this post, I assumed the OP was from a northern state and just did not need A/C. Then, I noticed he is in Lakeway (Austin), TX. If ever there was a place that needs AC, Austin is it! Why on earth would someone delete AC in Texas!

So, if it is because of the special purpose use of the truck and you are making it nice, then I would weld in patches, and repaint the entire dash/interior.

I deleted my AC, painted the side vent housings dash color and the balls black, and put them back on. No duct hose going to them...just mounted there for looks.

I always thought about hooking those vents to the kick panel fresh air vents on non a/c trucks.

Duct tape? Haha ... Ok that was dumb =)

I sold some ball vents to a member that was going to remove the inners and put some small speakers. Personally I would just leave them alone. If they really bug you maybe you could remove the dash and trade it to a member that has no vents and is looking for an air dash.
