Torque converter bolts

This is the second time my torque converter bolts have come loose.

First time I installed then dry like normal.

Second time I went with red loc-tite, and lock washers. As I had a box from a project I built left over from work.

I chocked the first time up to I was in a rush to get the engine in the Camaro, and never double checked.

The second time I have been scratching my head as to why they loosened.

Besides using the Mig welder. Could loc-tite go bad? The bottle is a few years old.

The engine is very smooth, and even my 80 year old mom is fine driving with me in it. She says it is too loud as her only complaint.
