Lightbulb not supporting terrorism..

Thought this was interesting. Read and see if you agree:

Where to buy gasoline and not support terrorism..
Actually is food for thought..

Every time you fill up the car, you can avoid putting
more money into the coffers of Saudi Arabia. Just buy
from gas companies that don't import their oil from
the Saudis.

Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling that
every time I fill-up the tank, I am sending my money
to people who are trying to kill me, my family, and my friends. I
thought it might be interesting for you to know which oil
companies
are the best to buy gas from.

Major companies that import Middle Eastern oil (for
the period 9/1/00 -8/31/01).

Shell 205,742,000 barrels
Chevron/Texaco 144,332,000
Exxon/Mobil 130,082,000
Marathon 117,740,000
Amoco 62,231,000

If you do the math at $30/barrel, these imports amount
to over $18 BILLION!

Here are some large companies that do not import
Middle Eastern oil:

Citgo 0 barrels
Sunoco 0
Conoco 0
Sinclair 0
BP/Phillips 0

All of this information is available from the
Department of Energy and can be easily documented.
Refineries located in the U.S. are required to
state where they get their oil and how much they are importing.
They
report on a monthly basis. Keep this list in your car; share it
with
friends. Stop paying for terrorism.

Suprisingly I have heard Canada is the #1 crude supplier to the US, and we need the money more!.
There is a lot to be said for buying close to home, for instance it bugs me to buy overseas car parts. I would much rather buy American if Can. parts arn't available (they rarely are)
It just makes sense to keep locals working.

Phew! Man I'm so glad I've been buying my gas at Citgo the past couple of years. It just happens to be the Gas station right off the Base I'm stationed at. I get about 8 miles to the gallon and only run 92 in it, so you figure I'd have bought a couple of'em a tank or two by now. Thats some good stuff to know....Thanks

And I thought they all used Middle Eastern oil! And the price went up 15 cents in 2 weeks again here. I NEVER buy Chevron, they were the first ones to start the crusher stuff in California. When they wanted me to get one of their cards, I told them I was afraid to pull in to their stations, because everything I drive was on their list of cars to crush.

I thought eeryone forgot about that. I persoanlly boycotted them for the same reason.
Come to find out, all the oil companies in Southern Cali are doing this now. I still refuse to do the Chevron thing...they started it all.

How does the list reflect the new merger with BP and Amoco? They appear to have different practices.....

That is the list for refineries only. The gas at the pump doesn't always come from the company on the station sign. That is true for some areas more than others depending on the formulation laws in your state. Oregon for example gets all it's refined gas from a handfull of California refineries. While BP may have the sign up, the gas could just as easily be Citgo, Texaco etc. Not to put a damper, just thought you should know. I still won't buy from Cheveron.

Ummmm, I didn't think the Saudi's supported terrorism, they are allies of ours aren't they? (Gulf War) The Crown Prince was just invited to the Bush Ranch a couple of days ago by Dick Cheney. My Bad I guess, I put BP/Amoco only in all of my vehicles.

Saudi Arabia, as a country doesn't support terrorism, but 17 of the 19 terrorist involved with the attacks on September 11, were Saudi citizens.

I work for Bp/Amoco, I work at the largest refinerie in America, Longhornmail you are right about this, all of your major oil companies, buy imported oil, I will say this, out in California, most of Bp/ Amoco oil is coming in from Alaska. But look here guys we are caught in the middle of a dilima here, if we dont buy the gas from our oil companies, then they start cutting production, when production gets cut back so doe U.S. jobs, I am not saying this just because I work for Bp/Amoco, this is a fact! So man you are right we in one since are supporting terrorist, but we are also supporting our own companies, damn, I dont know what else to say about this, other then it is screwed up big time!

Is that an import or a domestic solar car?
Hehe
Yes, we need to be buying more crude from our own turf as not to be so dependant on foreign oil. I think President Bush is taking the steps to do so- much to the dislike of the tree huggers(Alaska)..but that is a different debate..
Sorry, but I have not heard anything about Al Queda or any of bin f_____g
ladens organization using proceeds from the sale of oil to support their organization, much less Saudi Oil. They have been using money(millions) that WE gave them when we were supporting the war against the Soviets, the CIA trained him.(So are we going to boycott America too?) In addition they have used the sale of gems, Iraqi money, and various "Charity Organizations". I guess it comes down to this, if the U.S. puts Saudi on the embargo'd list, then THAT is when I and WE will stop buying oil from them. I, for now, will support Sam 72 to keep his job and continue to buy BP/Amoco.

Cool

One more point is that our crude oil AKA Alaskan crude, is pretty nasty stuff. It takes alot more refining to get it broke down thus costing more money. I look at it this way. I'd rather buy from them and keep ours for hard times in the future. The oil reserves in Alaska won't hold out forever. Now what would happen after we've used up all of ours and then had to go to war. Look at what's happened after we darn near depleted our forests. Forests can regrow but oil takes a tag longer. By the way, I now work, officially for Shell. So be gentle. PSR Anacortes, Washington

Ok all though I don't want to support Terrorists.

Love me or hate me I don't care where we get the oil as long as gas prices go down. I must put 93 octane in my Blazer, and it's 1.40! It's rediculus.

I also noticed something know one brought up here. Do you remember what happened a hour after the 911? I'll clue you in, people not thinking not using common sense all rushed to the gas station, and most stations where out of gas in a day! And it took only 1/2 hour for most stations to catch on and jack prices way up.

Be honist you or someone you know went out and got in lines 1/4mile long to get gas just because, We as Americans are programmed from babies to be followers. TV tells us what to believe, what to wear, and what good morals are.

Next everyone is missing to mention is the Flag Frensy! Did any one stop and take into consideration how many billions in taxs our government has made on the sales of flag stickers, and other US products?

Also everyone is doging imported stuff, we get money exporting creating jobs here, so whats the difference? It works both ways people.

Next that hardly anyone take into consideration is are rights being taken away from us all the time, with unconstitional laws. First they took away are gold, then they gave us gold notes, then they took them away, and gave us the money we use now, then in 1964 they started making fake coins. And have any of you stopped to really look at a "AMERICAN" dollar bill. Take one out and look at the back right now. L@@K!

Ok thats messed up Let me explain, the back of the bill is a Pyrmid of Eygpt. With whats called the ALL SEEING EYE on top seperated from the pyrmid this sibolizes A ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT. Also why would a Pyrmid be on a US dollar bill? See any in the US??? NO! Also what's up with the funky writing? I can't read it? Can you? Speak damn english please!

Also there is a direct contradiction on the dollar bill. It's sickening when you think about it. Eygiptions where pagons, didn't believe in Jesus or the Bible, they inslaved millions, of Isralites. And then what do your read on the Front? It's ok it's english! IN GOD WE TRUST!

Yet we don't allow prayer in schools, or bibles, and our US money says IN god we trust? UM somethings a miss wouldn't you say?? And when the attacks happened our government and leaders paused for a moment of silence, and bowed there heads? So did they is school. Um either we're going to be one way or the other. Whats up??

Also many won't believe this next part, but do you all know that US isn't even owned by US citizens? No Your money says Federal Reserve note. Thats refering to over seas bank, and investors, possibly oil companies. Some believe also theres no Gold left in Fort Nox. Why do you think the Gulf War happened? Oil reasons

Well by book is done. Sorry.

the pyramid on the back of the dollar isn't there to symobolize Egypt or anything dealing with Egypt. The all seeing eye is a symbol that has been used for centuries and is derived from the Masonic organization. Most of our founding fathers were Free Masons and you would be real, real surprised at all the smbolism, that we take as patriotic, that originally came from the Free Mason's Organization.

The funny writing is Latin, up until only 50-60 years ago, Latin was a required subject in schools, but it has gone by the wayside since.

Come on! I thought for sure that would get someones attention!

Ok here's another one you may not have heard.

Man people that have studied UFOs intensively have came to the conclusion, that allmost all air craft seen is Ultra Top secret, Military/government projects. If you study UFO sightings, threw the early years people allway seen air craft 10 years or more before it was public.

And a more sinister theory is that alien obductions are actually Government, and military people doing studies, on ultra micro tech, that monitors your vital signs, and is a sort of ultra high teck low jack implanted.

Do you know why are paper money has sterlin silver writing on a strip in it? It's not to prevent counter fitting, it's for high tech scanners when going threw air ports, to see exactly how much money you have, in your possesion.
