stall converter for 400sbc

What stall would be good for a 400sbc? It has a small cam, I have no idea what it is. It's in my 72 Blazer with a TH350. It currently has 3:08 gearing and I plan on changing to 3:73's. I'm pretty sure it has a stock stall converter on it now.

Tires? 2wd or 4wd? intended use? Taking it offroad is different than mixed or highway use.

Sorry I forgot those details. It's a 4wd and is a street queen ( will never see the dirt ). Mixed street and highway use. Mostly local driving. 33x12.5x15 tires.

Re: stall converter for 400sbc

Stock will be fine...the 400 has extra torque over a 350 so the stock convertor will be right on the money.

Why waste dollars!
