Now that would be a nice size shop to have. Two things kept me from building one that size. First, building codes. I cant be any closer to the road in front of the property or the road at the rear of the property (setback rules), and its at the very minimum distance from the main house that is allowable. And second, there is no way I could afford one that big...lol. Maybe someday.

nice shop --- are ya gonna leave it clean and simple, or are ya gonna customize it too?

I like 'em both ways -- sterile as an operating table, and then the other spectrum -- hopped up with old hubcaps and speed shop prints on the walls and maybe a model railroad set running around the perimeter somewhere just above eye level

Yeah, we live on a farm and Just finished a 60x45 Shop with a 60x60 enclosed shed attached. We installed in floor heat, a separate bathroom/boiler room and a small office, with a loft over it and we installed a 2 post Bend-Pak Asymmetric 10,000LB lift, and there is still not enough room with 3 vehicles and a trailer with wood and stuff for the rooms on it, but once we get it how we want it, it is going to be awesome.

Now thats a nice place. Sometimes being 16 and living under your parents roof has major perks. Stay as long as they will let you =)

Thats so cool ! The model railroad idea, still have mine from when I was a kid. Been thinking about where to put the slot car set too .
