I like his direction on this one. Fresh engine and just making the truck functional. "Shoring up" the bed and such. A lot of old iron could be returned to the roads using some of these techniques without spending hundreds of hours in labor.

I'm with Boog here. Show trucks and even nicely finished trucks are nice but they all don't have to be done that way. Out of the weeds and on the road is better than left to rust away.

Very cool video. It probably took them 3 times longer to get it done with all the fancy time-lapse photography.

There was a 55 first series Chevy truck sitting in the trees for many years on my father-in-law's land. It was in about the same condition as the truck in the video. I always wanted to get it out and redo it. Unfortunately I never got the time, $$$ or space to do it. It got recycled a few years ago.

I thought about buying up some of these barn yard /out back old trucks ,,but i lived in the country and I just knew that anyone who wanted a part of what I had drug home ..all they had to do is come in the from the overhead big power line back of my property thru the woods and help them selves ..

That was cool. Great seeing that old engine made as good as new. I slowed the video down to one quarter speed so I could follow what they were doing. Plus, that way I totally got my money's worth.

One of the best videos I've ever seen , Reminded me that everyone who strives to rebuild one of these old trucks to whatever degree is saving it for the future generations .

That truck was in great shape. I'm an antique truck guy as much as I am custom. It's great to see original examples preserved. fantastic to see them in use.
