So it's a fleetside? I am needing a stepside. Kinda hoping to find one in black so I don't have to go thru painting one...this one just was hit on the drivers side rear...otherwise it's nice! Appreciate the PM!

There is a guy named Dave Hammonds-with a salvage yard in Crab Orchard Ky that parts out late model GM trucks and usually has multiples of 5.3 motors and just about any other 99+ parts available. He advertises in some of the Car & Truck weekly flyer papers----TruckTrader, Muscle Trader, etc. If you can't find his number ---let me know as I have it somewhere. I bought a 5 speed from him about 7-8 years ago. he is a good guy and reasonable prices too. Huck

Check local salvage yards for some parts.
Also, local Utililty truck conversion companies for new take off beds.

Other great resources are ebay.com, craigslist.com and the classified section at www.fullsizechevy.com

well, we(myself and JerseyGirl) live in Nashville, but not together . There aren't any good salvage yards for late model GM Trucks.

Huck, I'd be interested in info on that yard in Crab Orchard.
