Porterbuilt hinges

Anyone ever had issues with installing hinges? I measured cut and installed the cowl bracket and also the swing arm. I’m having issues with the brackets that go welded to the hood as they’re not touching the brace once bolted to the swing arm.

See it doesn’t even touch the brace to weld because the welded nuts are hitting the brace.

Re: Porterbuilt hinges

It’s crazy you posted this. I just ordered my hood hinges from them and should get them in a few weeks, so I don’t have any experience with what you’re asking about. But, I couldn’t really find many reviews on these hinges anywhere. I’m riding on the fact that they make good suspension parts...from what I’ve read. Post some pictures if you can!

Re: Porterbuilt hinges

Will the weld on hood brace slide forward anymore?
