Install of 85 front axle in a 67 4wd

I'm planning on installing a 85 4wd front axle in my 67 wd truck to update to front disc brakes and to improve the turning radius. Both are 6 lug 10 bolt 3.73. I have already installed a later model power steering pump & gearbox, and need to replace the brake lines anyway. Anybody done this or know of any issues with this? Looks like the leaf springs line up, but not sure on the width. Thanks for any help.

If the front is a 10 bolt in the 67 it has already been switched. The Dana 44 was the standard axle until 78 plus or minus a year. After the the 10 bolt became the standard axle in 1/2 tons and blazers.

you can also swap out the front cross member and gain the sway bar for better road manners..
