Differential fit

Contemplating swapping to newer differentials in a 65 k-20, trying to find my options for years that will swap, found 73-81 a possibility, does anyone know how new that will fit,,,87? Shock mounts are easily fixed, more concerned with track width…
Thanks
Will keep researching…

Re: Differential fit

If you do not mind widening the rear track width to match the front you can use some pretty current rear axles even with factory disk brakes. Put an AAM 11.5 from a 2006 HD2500 in my 72. Matches the front width within 1/2" of a custom D60 HP I had made (stock width)
