I don't know of any repair kits that are available. We generally clean them up, weld the pin into place on both sides of the roller
and weld the pin for the outside lever, (the lever where the outside door handle pushes against). Most of the time the latches need this done to them. If they are too far gone we toss them, but most of the time we can make them work pretty well,
because welding the pins tighten them up. We lube them and check them for looseness before installing.

Sometimes the little tabs are bent and those are straightened.

You talking the latch on the inside of the door? LMC carries to whole latch assembly ($50, ouch!) but not a repair kit,

Umm - Dumb question, but-
What do you use to remove those screws? A big phillips, or something else Don't want to screw them up (no pun intended)
Is it a phillips?
Thanks

Thumbs up

Use a phillips screw driver with a #4 phillips tip to remove the screws.

When they don't cooperate, I use one of those hand held impact drivers that you hit with a hammer. Gets them loose everytime.

We use a large phillips that has hex on the shaft for a 3/8" wrench so as to increase turning power. If that does not work, we go with Bob's method which works every time as he said.
