Tilt steering column for Automatic trans.
Tilt steering column for 67-72 Chevy truck with automatic transmission. Column was originally in a RV. All changes was made to make it a direct bolt in a truck. The neutral safety switch was moved to the truck location on the column & the old hole was filled back in. The extra bend in the shift arm was taken out & is now straight like the truck & it has the correct truck upper & lower seals withe the metal firewall retainer. The column was stripped down & checked for worn or broken parts & replaced if needed. The column was painted semi-gloss black. The following parts are new, turn signal switch & wiring harness with correct horse shoe wiring connector, indicator pointer, upper & lower rubber seals, tilt & turn signal levers. Shift lever & cancel cam is used. This column will bolt right in with no modifications. I took pictures of a unrestored truck column sitting next to this column.

Re: Tilt steering column for Automatic trans.
Hey Don, I have a question. The auto trans shifter on my 69 C10 column has a lot of slop in it. For example, with the trans in Park, I can move the shift handle 1/2" up and down and the lever connected the the rod does not move. Same is true for any gear selected. And the slop is not between handle and shifter bowl.
Are there parts available to fix this problem? I'm getting ready to pull the column to take a look, but want to get your input.
