I have this leftover brake booster that I don't need anymore and want to sell.

I bought this for my 1972 GMC from LMC Truck. I have the old order, and the part number from LMC was 34-4321. See it here.

When it showed up at the guy's house who was helping me with the truck, he said that the booster didn't line up to the brackets on the truck. He said the bolt pattern on this booster was bigger than the bracket on the truck, if I recall. I ordered some new brackets from Jeg's, but instead of using them I found another booster somewhere else that fit the existing brackets so we ran with that.

Any idea what this booster is for? It was like $130 from LMC, and has never been used. I'd like to sell it and the Jeg's brackets, but I don't want to misrepresent the parts and mess someone else up.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

Does your truck currently have the factory booster, or are you replacing a manual system?

BTW, several "thumbs-up" to you for being totally upfront about the booster. You're way too honest for eBay!

Just found this ~20 year-old photo of my 69 C10. The bracket, booster, master cylinder, and combination valve came out of a 71 or 72 junkyard truck. The booster leaked so I had it rebuilt in 1995, and it still works!

With that bolt flange on the fire wall side of the booster I say it's a late model booster that mounted straight to the fire wall. As far as year I have no idea.

That engine compartment looked so ugly back then, I just have to post this photo from 2 years ago!

Good catch. Also, what is the diameter? It should be around 11 inches.

Diameter is approximately 10.5 inches. The 4 bolts that hold it to the bracket are 3.5 inches on center.

There is a part number on the booster. 3M108. I google that and can't find anything.

I think I'll just put it on eBay with a lot of disclosure verbiage and these measurements and dimensions and see what happens.

I agree. With the size it may be the S10 Blazer or possibly Astro van version. The 88-up C/K trucks I have used a larger diameter and deeper profile version than that.

That is a Delco Moraine style booster. A lot of our trucks used a Bendix style, but I think they will both work with the correct mounting brackets.

Paid $1200; sold for $1500 a few years later. Just a hint at the appreciation that was coming. Retired as a factory automation products salesman. Worked part-time over the years for an engine builder and a classic car repair shop. Member here for 23 years! This is the very first car/truck Internet forum I joined. It sucks not being able to hear! LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB! After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
