Reading this thread for the first time. Very cool. Really like all of the pictures. Kinda have to guess at filling in the story lines, but it's all good. I was surprised by this picture. I had no idea the old gas pumps were made out of b r a s(s)

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’

Thanks LT7A
That was a while ago, I think somewhere down south
In the desert
And I'm not even sure if we were able to hire a cook ?
I really have never gone back through the thread
But I can imagine it is somewhat fractured
Not really being written like a book
Mostly just story lines that were put together with pictures
I definitely take a lot of them
A mere fraction of them end up here

And so forth

All good. Yeah, that is a serious amount of pictures. It was cool to see the trips and the new acquisitions and kind of get a view into the ChevyLand Roadshow. I have a road trip playlist and I added a couple songs to it from ones that you posted links to.

I had to chuckle, that once you crossed the mental barrier to GMCs that they started showing up at your place with regularity. One practical note, I don't know about the years that you're targeting, but I have both an 82 Chevy and an 82 GMC that are painted the same color. They look quite different because the GMC is painted over white primer, and the Chevy is painted over black primer. Something to keep in mind if you are painting on the GMCs.
