67-72 K20 Man Trans Big Block Swap Full Methods?

After doing a search here and reading hours of different threads to do this swap, there doesn't seem to be a full consensus on the best route to do this. There's conflicting info and before I attempt this, it would be very helpful to have someone who has done this swap with a man trans to describe what worked best for them.

Some have went with later model crossmember/towers/mounts and some have simply used the forward motor mount mounting holes. If just moving to the forward holes, can the small block mounts be used or are big block mounts required?

I have the Hooker 2817 Super Comp headers which seem to be the best header to fit.

Some have also mentioned later model clutch linkage and some haven't mentioned that. I'm running an electric water pump and will run electric fans so the shroud/water pump length won't be an issue. Have a magneto on my 350 now so I'll carry that over and that's a narrower cap than an HEI.

I haven't seen a mention of if the forward motor mount holes are used, does this pull the engine forward enough to affect mounting to the bell housing and the trans/transfer case and those mounting locations for those can remain in the same location? Maybe the length of the big block makes up to enable this without affecting trans and transfer case mounting?

There's many what if's so if someone could describe exactly what it took to do this sucessfully in one thread, I'm sure it would be a great reference for anyone that wants to attempt this.
