Chop Top,,, anyone extended the firewall?

Has anyone extended the drivers side lower firewall for more leg room on a chopped top C-10? I have seen it done on other year trucks and hot rods with a heavy roof chop, my seat is slammed on the floor board with no seat frame and my legs are bunched up and uncomfortable on longer cruises, my truck is a stick which makes it every more cramped having to use the clutch, any help would be appreciated thanks ronnie
