Re: Steel wheels ?

I just bought 62 series 15x6 and 15x8 5 on 5 steel wheels that take the 10.25 hubcap from Summit Racing.

Re: Steel wheels ?

Wheel Vintiques wheels can be ordered in different back-space dimensions via a custom order. It does add time (2wks for the ones I had built) but is available. The 62 series is available in 5x5 pattern as well.

Just about all steel wheel manufacturers are having delays filling orders. The Pandemic has materials/supplies backed up. I waited over 3months for US Wheel to build 2 of the 4 wheels I purchased through Summit. I returned the front wheels last week after still not getting the rears (ordered Sept '20). The thorn in the deal was Summit charged me a 15% re-stocking fee for the fronts since I had them over 90days (waiting for the rears....)

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: Steel wheels ?

Yeah this virus has screwed things up I have bought wheels from WV in the past and it only took a couple of weeks the bad thing order them directly from WV is the cost of the shipping that’s why I got the two front ones from summit as there’s is free shipping I think the first time I talk to WV I must’ve been talking to a janitor after talking to summit and they said they had the front ones in a 5x5 bolt pattern I called WV back and talk to someone different it’s not the end of the world i’ve been building on this thing for about seven years the wheels I have go around and around LMAO hopefully I will get them within two months
