72 GMC K2500 (plow truck)

Well, I figure it is time to start a build thread. So here’s where I’m at… Bought about 4.5 trucks in the past year starting with a 68 Chevy C20, 70 Chevy C20 Longhorn, 71 GMC Sierra Custom Grande, 72 GMC K2500 and some of a 72 C10. The reason couldn’t make up my mind about what I wanted to build. My plans for this truck are to bring it back close to original (makes for fewer decisions).

Over the years the truck has gone from White (original) to medium blue, to the present brown colour. Previous owners added a Realistic 8 track player and CB, a cool flashing light on the roof, some other orange lights, 16x6.00 Firestone “widow maker rims,” and a whole bunch of silly lights and switches on the dash. Oh, obviously a plow. Call me crazy but I’m probably going to restore the Meyers Plow and run it, maybe make some cash.

So, That’s the important stuff, I think… Anyway, My name is Kyle, I live in Guelph Ontario (That’s in Canada LOL) I’m 16 years old right now (February 2 2009)

I was going to wait for you all to see what I’ve posted, but I’m going to post some pics of what I’ve got done. (Not looking forward to resizing all the pics LOL) The third pic is of rotted fender that wouldnt come off. The last pic is shows my garage where I do most of the work, I also have 18x22" Shed with a loft for storage. The cab at the back is from my Longhorn, Im going to be using it on this truck.
