engine mounts are they the same?

ok I'am trying to get parts ready for my engine (blueprint 355) before it gets here. My question is the truck had a 305 in it last, can I use the same mounts or is the part number different for a 350? thanks for help!

All SBC mounts are the same per year of application.

Re: engine mounts are they the same?

There are differences in the motor mounts from different manufacturers.
This thread shows two that are currently available one without the safety tabs and one with them. If possible you want to run the ones with the safety tabs.

Re: engine mounts are they the same?

Here is an idea for you in this thread below.

Now would be a good time to swap to clamshell type.

If you chose to.

Are the safety tabs something you can see or are they buried in the rubber and you have to just trust that they are there?

Re: engine mounts are they the same?

The tabs are under the rubber (see green circle) seen in the center of the top on the back. (2nd photo) The cheap mounts (red circle) have none of those characteristics.
