6L80E transmission pan depth

I have a 6L80E trans from a Silverado 1500. Is there a shallow pan for the 6L80E as the truck pan is too deep for my swap application? Thanks

Re: 6L80E transmission pan depth

This is the shallowest pan I am aware of. GM p/n 24239528- made for the Caprice, SS, and G8. They are still available new and are inexpensive. Requires a matching filter- ACDelco p/n 24252158 or equivalent. Many places state they are 2 1/4" deep but that is only at the center. Like the Camaro, it has a "drain plug" that is to be used to set the fill level. I measured the volume as it sits with the top surface level. It holds 4 1/4 qts to the top of the "straw", exactly the same as the Camaro pan.
