You are probably right but if everything is there not a big deal to fix or insstall new compressor. Its when the compressor & brackets are removed then its a problem.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

69 Duramax project $8000. Not mine.

https://salem.craigslist.org/pts/d/s...515475922.html

Please read the ad completely to avoid unnecessary questions.
Need to eliminate a project. I'm getting too old and I'm not healthy enough anymore to finish both my long time projects. The following items are included in the sale.
Primed cab that is almost ready for paint with some new parts already installed. It is a A/C cab. I have clear title for the cab in my name. The orange cab is toast but does have some usable parts. Comes with Ford Dana 60 high pinion front axle and a 14bolt FF to match drivers side transfer case drop. Rear axle has 3.73 gears and front has 3.54 but I have a used 3.73 ring and pinion to swap out the front to match the rear, Comes with a LLY Duramax engine that does not run. The guy I purchased it from said it quit driving down the road and would not restart. I pulled the exhaust manifolds off and found oil or diesel coming from the left side of the engine into the turbo. Suspect maybe cracked piston so engine may need to be rebuilt. Comes with Allison 1000 out of a 2005 with 200k miles on it but was working as it took the truck to the scene of the accident. I was going to freshen it up but could be ran as is. Comes with NP261XHD transfer case that has been freshened up and is ready to go. I have wiring harnesses and computers for the engine and transmission. Comes with a Chevy front clip that needs some rust repair on the fenders but have the pieces to repair them. Comes with a bed that is pretty good. Comes with a few boxes of misc. parts. If you're interested in taking over this project, please email me for a time to come see it. Due to phone number harvesting, I won't call you until I'm convinced, you're a player and that will be when you're standing here. Want to sell as a package deal. I can help transport for a fee. It has taken me years to gather this stuff.
Cash only, no trades.

I contacted the seller and got the spid and very well equipped truck. I'm awaiting some more pics and info. Been wanting a decent Longhorn for a while now.

I wish mine looked like that.

I never set out to get a medium olive truck with a white top and just ended up with 2 of them. People ask me why I bought the same truck but I tell them that they aren't the same. They look similar but not the same.

I like the color. When I was a kid my friends dad bought one brand new. He was the cool dad. He raced dirt bikes and used the truck for his camper. He also had a really badazz 68 Firebird with a 400 in it. I looked up to him.

Years later my friend came over to my house and saw my truck and said it looked just like his dads.

Yeah. It sure does.

The text contained in the ad does say "compressor and lines removed".

Weird seeing a Longhorn with the little fly swatter mirrors though.

72 C20 Cheyenne Super Custom Camper Longhorn(!) $4500
Yes, very rough, but what a loaded gem when new. I'm kinda stunned it appears to have been ordered with the standard mirrors.
And Greg, the A/C parts are all there, it's just missing a belt.

68 oil burner $20,000. Not mine.

https://portland.craigslist.org/clc/...525227578.html

It’s with a heavy heart I list my 68 Chevy Cummins pickup .

3/4 ton 2 WD.
1993 12V Turbo Cummins motor 185k on it.
Rebuilt Getrag 5 speed tranny -rebuilt New flywheel
New shocks
New rear bumper
3.54 rear ended new w/ locker
Disc brake conversion up front
Custom patina paint
C 30 springs up front
Brand new battery 7 year warranty
New mirrors
Very little rust left

Owned this truck for about 10 years …. Thousands invested to make it cool. It’s a couple grand away from being perfect for me.

Call text or email Ryan.
I will not give it away. Divorce forces sale :/
