Turning a 2wd car into a buggy

Hey everyone, I've been toying around with the idea of taking a car fwd or rwd and turning it into a buggy of sorts, taking the doors off and cutting the roof off, cutting the fenders and outting bigger meatier tires on the drive tires. I realize this would look rediculous, but Itd only be to play around with in the two tracks, any input or ideas, has anyone done this and have pictures?

A Subaru sounds like a good place to start, but that gives you the option of AWD.

Why not start with the top already gone?

If you want to make it a 4x4

I have an idea where backwoods Michigan is but it's a large area so I started centrally.

A c4 corvette can be cheap if it don't run or has problems.
