Hotrod C/10 linkages

I pay for 2 sets of linkage from Hotrod C/10 MO was cash but no parts.I think he drop the ball on this transaction.Has not made contact to me on this matter,so i would not do business with him.

I am also having some bad dealings with him. I payed him $155 for a bed header panel on December 3rd and never recieved it! I was told it was shipped so I waited and waited and he has quit responding to me! I was warned by another member on here not to deal with him. I should have listened!

Thanks teeitup,I've had no problem with any body that i purchase parts from on parts for sale forum,until now.Now i'm just have do business with ones i have purchase parts from.You try to give people a chance and hope they will be good to there word.This is the first time it happen,guess i've been lucky

I had an issue with him last year. (I never received things that were paid for)
his wife was in charge of shipping parts while he was away for work.
I did get a refund after I contacted him several times.

i would keep bugging him.

I have PM him a number of time asking for my money back & still no reply from him.Even Liz has PM him,I guess she did.I'll keep checking my PM & the member dealing site to see if he ever respond.

seriously though, he hasnt been on the site since before my last reply. His account is banned now, as suggested.. Usually we do not ban folks until the deals are completed, as it is most times the only means of contact. Since Randy posted that this user is selling on fb, yall have another means to do so. Really? So this is how you handle things?? I truly am sorry that this one single person from wherever ripped you off. And I understand how mad it must make you feel. But,I see this way of dealing with it as senseless. You will now only buy from someone you already have bought from? Your loss,and I hope none of them ever rip you off. What would you do,then? And,now New Mexico people are all thieves? If they move to another state will they be ok? If someone moves there will they become untrustworthy even though you trusted them in the state they came from? My sister lives in NM and I know for a fact we have some of the most honest members here from there. Pretty sure we've had some bad ones from other states. Maybe it's best to not buy from Americans. ll I know is I always compare this black & white type of thinking with this... Let's say you have an accident of certain road. Will that stop you from driving on it because you had an accident there? How about other roads with the same name? Fact is,once you had a wreck on that roads the odds are generally good it won't happen again and all other rods are more probable.

I'm not trying to offend or insult you,but I really think anyone who thinks this way really needs to try a more sensible approach. And,it could be offensive and insulting to those included in your black list. Not to mention it really won't help you be any safer. You may be the one who loses out the most.

I think your taking it a little personal special-k... We've all been screwed, had a car broken into etc, and we've all said the same type of stuff. "I'm never parking my car in this-or-that part of town" or "I'll never buy another car from Chicago, everyone down there is a con-artist".... Guy is pissed, and it left a bad taste in his mouth, oh well.

Breaking Bad did NM a greater disservice than his post did...

Hey specical-K,I've have brought parts from you & i keep a list who i buy parts from.Yes i will not buy parts from someone from N.M.Just in case he still lives in N.M. & trying to sell parts under a new name.I will give somebody a chance & i know it's chance anytime you buy parts.So i will still give some one a chance.Not in N.M. this person gave N.M. a bad name in my books.I try to contact him & give him a chance to give him my parts OR my money back,still no respond from him.This still is the best truck site. Yes it did leave a bad taste

Why,are you a meth head? I can't see how the actions of one person can do the entire state a disservice,seller po'd buyer or anyone. I'm saying that's flawed thinking to rope everyone in with one bad apple...in any state. How can I take something personal when it's not directed at me? RC,you must mean no "new" members after this date from NM. You know of many upstanding members here from NM and I don't believe you think they are dishonest now,right? We've had members from NC banned for ripping people off,too you know. I know you're peeved and venting and not holding what you've said against you. I just have a beef with such blanket statements. Believe me,I didn't even get ripped off and it makes me mad. Low down people suck. Stuff happens. He might have had every intention of delivering on the goods,then ran into some serious trouble. But no communication,just vanish? That's low. I didn't have any deals going on,but back in '10 my computer went south and all at once I had no access to this site. I had a friend from here post a thread to let people know. I was glad I had at least one member's phone number. This guy has the proper names and addresses,which is usually enough to get the phone number. He could sens a post car...something. No show is really low

C10 got me to on some 67-68 grill parts never got them I'm out 65 bucks. If u send paypal as a gift u can not make a clam to get your money back. It worth the extra few bucks to pay the pp fee
