Integraty! where did it go?

After a long year of searching and calling, found a se of 72 CST bucket seats on CL in AZ. Ha the guy take pics and called him and asked if the seats were good enough to have re-foamed and covered. He said," everything except the covers were in excellent condition. $350 dollars later and when they showed up there was not one piece of metal over an inch long that was not rusted completely through. The backs you could fold in half. The rails were twisted and crushed. NOT ONE USABLE PART. Called and left messages and texts. No reply (go figure) But I do still have the mailing address where I sent the Money order. Looks like I will making a small trip to AZ.
This guy obviously is not a blazer guy.

Don't let a bad deal drive your actions enough to get yourself in trouble. Been there and done that. Not good!

That is terrible and sort of embodies the buzz about dealing on Craigslist. I've never been burnt on buying there - yet - but am ready to give up on it anyway for another reason, non-responsiveness on the seller side. I'm batting about .200 on actually getting people with stuff to sell to respond to my inquiries. Maybe it is just as well after viewing your unfortunate experience.

Facebook message boards and Craigslist have no integrity. I've had more than one thing sold out from under me. I won't even consider buying something off either place without looking in person. Everyone just wants to screw everyone else over. Just remember karma is a b@*&$!

Thanks guys for the replies. My wife has been tying me down to keep me from driving to AZ. Maybe it's just the okie in me, but have always over trusted people all my life. What the folks instilled in me. But would just love to return these seats to him..... through his window, ha ha ha

Life is to short to add to the gray and wrinkles. I have an issue right now were I have paid for a part and now they will not response and I have no part. Things have a way of turning around to your advantage, just learn keep everyone undated so we don't have the same problem.

If you are posting about it, it needs to be in this area with proper information. Please take the time to start a new thread with information on the issue. If someone ripped you off and you dont bother, than others will likely get ripped off as well. All preventable with a post;..
