For everyone's information....I sent $90 via Paypal to Mrdana60 over a month ago for some parts off a truck he is parting out. I have yet to see my parts and cannot get ANY response via this forum or through the email address associated with his Paypal account. I just want my parts or my money back. Just figured I'd share the situation and warn everyone else. Like it's been said before; fool me once, shame on you....fool me twice, shame on ME.

I try to think the best about people and hope maybe there's been some personal issues that have prevented him from following up, but the longer time goes on, the more suspicious I become.

I don't know Kevin personally, but I bought some brake booster brackets from him earlier this year and I thought I was getting ripped off too. Turns out he works long shifts for many days in a row and is not on here much. I eventually got my parts but it took a while for him to respond to pm's and in the thread. Some other members vouched for him and he did come through on my deal. Not taking sides...

No communication for months? No excuse for that. Don't sell parts if you're too busy to stay on top of your dealings.

Lost cousin, aunt( cousins mother), and this jan my mother.
I too bought quite a few parts from him. Always did me right.

Just a follow up on this matter. As of this posting, I have totally put this behind me. I am out my money, so I guess I just chalked it up to experience. Thankfully, $90 isn't going to send me to the poor house, but it's really more the personal integrity question. I actually got a name for Mrdana60 and contacted a shop very close to where he lives and the guy was gonna try to make contact with him, but I never heard back. Of course, the shop owner could have just been feeding me a line as well, but since I have a small business and was buying parts from him and this issue was just mentioned in passing, I don't see where the shop owner had anything to gain by pulling my chain. I just wish I could've gotten some kind of explanation, that's all. Live and learn, I suppose.

On the positive side, I have since purchased parts from other forum members and have had absolutely zero problems. I'm not interested in bashing Mrdana60, but I do think this type of situation doesn't reflect the majority of the members of this forum.

I believe he was trying to warn others since the search showed the seller was a member there.

OP I am sorry you did not get your parts etc. I hate seeing things like this happen. Maybe message him and his wife on fb and ask for your money.

Okay, I'm giving this one more shot....I sent a message to this guy via facebook and another email to his listed paypal email address, which appears to be his wife. Kept it short, sweet, and to the point that this was a matter of personal integrity and if he wanted to do the right thing, he would refund my money. We'll see if I get any kind of response. I even gave him my phone number if he would rather talk with me about the situation. I'll follow up on this in a week to let everyone know if anything has changed.

realizing that this post is over a year old did you pay with paypal? if so did you file a claim?

Sadly Paypal will only allow for a claim to be filed within 90 days of the transaction.

Okay, so I sent this cat a message via Facebook and to the email address linked to his Paypal account a week ago yesterday.....no response whatsoever. I'm officially over this. Let me say again, I have purchased other parts from other members of this forum with absolutely no problem at all. Got good parts at very fair prices. Too bad there always seems to be one horse's rear end no matter where you turn and I have a knack for finding them. This guy's name is Kevin Haney and he lives in Centre, AL, so don't say you weren't warned. I understand through this thread he is selling stuff on other forums as well. Just remember Mr. Haney.....karma is a *****!
