Stock overload spring bump stop

I'd say not original. Probably something that was sold by parts houses or Western Auto back in the day.

definitely not original. mine were riveted to the bottom of the frame like this

Ok, Thanks. I thought it looked too hokie to be factory. No doubt it was done in the distant past, probably when the 10 bolt rear and 54 chevy car hubs were added to get the 5 lug bolt pattern.

my 3/4 ton came with overloads but the springs were another set of shorter leaf springs above the original springs with a spacer block between them and some contact slipper brackets riveted onto the frame above that. similar to what you would find on a newer truck but minus the teflon contact slippers.
