They were swapped into the Blazer to complete a matched set of Slams all around. There was apparently a worldwide shortage of RE7s at the time, so I ended up with the then brand new to the market Doms. They perform similarly, but have a softer feel. I will prolly swap back to Slams (SS6s this time) when and if these wear out...

Check out the suspension forum here for answers on how to mount them up. LOTS of guys have done this swap. Good luck!

Thanks, man. I think the truck is done for now, excepting knick-knacks. My wife wants a '67 fastback 'stang, but she has a liking for fast and handling, so we may be able to work a deal for some go-fast goodies for the truck soon. I'd like to make it a low budget auto-crosser

Still looking for progress on the Blazer- I'd love to see that thing finished...

Thoughts on wheel selection, guys? I've always had a fondness for the Cragars and sorta wanna be 'different', but would really like a set of grey spoke TT2s. Dirty hack:

While I like the Cragars, they just don't hold a candle to early 'as-cast' looking 5-spoke wheels (TorqThrust's or similar/dead-ringer).

grey TT2's. had a set on my old 80 dodge aspen (nova rip-off). looked tough! the 225 slant six sipping thru a one barrel carb wasn't so tough though.
