CST trim suburban?

Any one ever see a burban with stainless trim on the third door ? Not sure if it was a CST or deluxe model but it was fully loaded with third seat and rear air

Hey Mark...my '72 came with the stainless trim on the three door panels and the fourth "non-door" panel as well...in addition to the chrome strips for the rear side panels and chrome sill plates. It is a "Custom Deluxe" three row with rear A/C, however the A/C was dealer installed (not shown on SPID).

Mine 1972 K10 Suburban has the chrome trim and woodgrain panel inserts. It is Custom Deluxe Equip, option 1Z6210 according to the SPID.

Re: CST trim suburban?

My 72 has the scroll panels with chrome trim. I feel like the woodgrain trim on the burb door panels is pretty rare. I was going after a set for mine, but changed my mind.

Re: CST trim suburban?

The wood trim was part of A52 "custom deluxe vinyl" seats (parchment only)

I love working Burbans. Especially green and white ones.
Getting that engine and transaxle in and out looks like it was a bit tricky unless there was a forklift somewhere out of the picture.
I've got a scrape in the rear window tint on mine from an engine hoist.

Re: CST trim suburban?

I have a 71 Suburban, Custom Deluxe trim level. All 3 of my doors have a chrome strip at the top of the door cards. You have the exact same seat material, pattern and color as my Green Suburban. I only have a two seat configuration. I looked high and low for a middle seat from a 3 seat configuration but gave up. I want to have the seats recovered in the same material as they were originally. Your picture shows different door cards than mine has. I am the original owner so I know they are original.
