Wheel and Tire Fitment

I've got an '07 2500HD. Am in discussion with a guy about trading my stock wheels and 265/75/16 tires for Mickey Thompsons that are 16x8, with a 4.25" backspacing and -6mm offset. The MT's have 285/75/16 tires. I've got a feeling that these would rub on my pickup while turning. Can anyone tell me if they'll work?
