I have a pair of tow hooks that came on a truck I bought recently. The part number on the side is the right part number except the number is in reverse. Is this a real tow hook or a repop?

I am inclined to think it is a repro, but not for sure. Any better pics of the casting seams and such? It looks fairly rough cast also.

It is sorta what I was thinking also. Just was hoping someone would chime in and say, they have a set of reproductions and the numbers are backwards.

The repo hooks have more of a point to the end of the hook than a GM one does. Definitely those are repo

This the exact confusion I was worried about. Some of us still use our trucks as trucks and someone will eventually get hurt by these decorative hooks. He should of cast a warning on the body of the hooks.

I agree with you on that issue. I bought the truck from a member here and these tow hooks must of been switched out for the real ones. To bad people cant just be honest about their dealings.
