Carb question

When i take my carb apart for rebuilt do i need 2 soak it for 24 hours or can i just spay everything down with carb cleaner?.. Thanks for any help

i sprayed about 4 cans of carb cleaner and used an old toothbrush, worked pretty well.

Ok so heres the new problem.. I had it rebuilt and it will only run if i pump the gas a couple times and itll only run for about 15 seconds. Any ideas?
