Re: power steering

did you get the crankshaft pulley for the power steering? Does the pump have all of the mounting brackets? did you get all of the bolts for mounting it to the block? I just converted my half ton to power steering and power brakes. its a simple swap. if you need a new rag joint, you'll have to order it online from one of the vendors. I haven't seen the correct sized one in the parts stores, its too small. It will take a few hours to do the steering but it shouldn't take much longer than 30 mins to do the power brakes. You can leave your existing master cylinder hooked up and just bend the lines so that it bolts to the booster. They are long enough.

Re: power steering

well i have the crankshaft pulley(never been disconnected from the steering box) not definate on the bracket(s) negative on the bolts. the brakes just have the shaft coming out the back of the booster i dont have the rest of the pedal off the 3/4 ton. i also dont know if theres anything to do to the replacement booster and cylinder to not have to bleed the brakes(dont know if it needs to be bench blead)
