I am going to put a set of Slot Mag wheels on my 1972 Cheyenne Super.

15x8.5 front. 15x10 rear

It’s a 2WD 5 lug truck.

I had a similar setup on a truck I sold a few years ago. I recall needing some sort of special acorn lug nuts for the slots.

If anyone can advise on specs, manufacturer and where to buy I would be grateful for the info.

In my limited experience with aluminum slots/wheels, there are at least two types. One would be a universal fit and would incorporate a large washer that had the appropriate offset hole location for the lug pattern that you have. The lug holes in the wheel would be outwardly slotted somewhat. The other, that I know of, would be similar, but with a hole centered in the washer. Both would be determined by the washer outside diameter and or shaper, the hole location (centered or offset), the lug nut shank diameter, and the shank length...along with the stud thread size and length. The first pic shows the universal style (I am NOT suggesting this is what you need, just a visual example) and the second shows the non-universal style (once again, just a visual aid). As simple as "lug nut" sounds, there is quite a bit that has to be defined before selecting and making a purchase.

I think you will need a shank style lug nut (sometimes called mag seat).
Probably 1/2-20. Most of the shank lug nuts need a washer. There are different reaches, so make sure what you get does not reach past the thickness of the wheel but close to it. If too much reach, you will not be able to tighten the wheel to the hub as the nut will bottom out against the hub. Too short and you get less bite/engagement on the studs.

Your in LA , Take one wheel to your local wheel dealer and buy the right ones the first time .

Load wheel in wives trunk ... take wheel out of trunk at wheel store...pay for lugs ... drive home ... you did it yourself ...

That's too simple. Better to buy on Amazon, wait a few days, and then have to return.
