Cross member identification - 4x4 L6

Double checking this cross member is correct for a 292 K truck (could you even get a 230 or 250 in a 4x4?)

Looks correct from searching the forum but I wanted to be double sure before I pull it. Thanks!

Looks like a V-8 missing the right side perch to me. Pictures I found on this site .

I agree, looks like a small block setup.

Yes that is a small block or 250 6 banger cross member

Those are my pictures. They are crossmembers for L-25 292 L6s in 4x4 trucks. As far as I know, only the 292 needed a K-truck crossmember. I could be wrong. The orientation of the 292 X-mbr was somewhat diagonal, with Right Hand leading.
250s were the base line engine for Blazers, unless a V8 was specified. After '67, GM did not equip trucks with 230s.

First two picture on the post show from a top view of a K10 /K20 V8 crossmember and second photo shows the 292 6 cylinder crossmember.

I looked at your other post about swapping a 292 in for an SBC.
Neat.
You asked about 292 fan shrouds: Only on Factory A/C trucks were fan shrouds installed. And since the 292 was usually a workhorse motor in a fleet truck, that was a very rare option. Most L6s just had the Finger Guard over the fan.
