Did i just screw up? Bye bye 1969

So as many have probably had the gut feeling that when you put a truck up for sale you feel regret when you see it leaving?

I felt this was today, I had great intentions for this truck and feel I let her down. I bought this a little over 3 weeks ago and was going to be a sweet build....fast forward and low and behold after taking delivery, buying donor truck and their arrival to my shop a litttle over 3 days later another dream truck enters your life! You have to scramble, make quick rash decisions and decide within sometimes minutes how to justify what you may have to give up before someone makes the move quicker than you do. My quick decison was to say goodbye to Sweet Pea.

Last I knew money still does not grow on tree's and life responsibilites take presidence in all your decisions. Anyway to the root of my bad gut feeling.................. I let go one of the nicest 1 owner shortbeds I could probably ever have hoped to own leave. I gave it up for a factory K10 and and saved Sweet Pea from transforming into something she was never intended to be a K10! None the less seeing it in the back of the new owners trailer brought the pain and myself questioning the quick rash decision. I'm sure over the next few months I will realize I could have financially kept it and also realizing its a little to late as I have done so many times before.

Sweet Pea is going home to Ohio with a great new owner who will take good care of her along with a promise to give me first chance to buy back if ever sold so....... Good Bye Swet Pea until we meet again hopefully someday.

WILL ADD PICTURE WHEN "SECURITY TOKEN" IS FIXED

The security token message means your pictures are too large (file size) try compressing the pics or resizing them and theyll upload.

Never, not ever sell a vehicle that you have some attachment to, without 1st having a buddy load it up and you watch it drive away. You will know then if you can live without it. I've watched a bunch of them go, and wish I would have followed my own advice more than a few times

Well sounds like at least you have a good one to fall back on and tinker with.

I've done that with nice firearms and quadrunners and...

Just get into what you have now and it will get (a little) easier over time.

ETA: I got to thinkin', a little over 26 years ago somebody parted with this '69 and I have no idea if they regret it or not, but I'm sure glad I bought it!

...you win a few - you lose a few.

Check out the antlers.
