1968 Chevrolet 605 red cloth trim

Trying to figure out what the correct seat upholstery is supposed to look like for my 1968 Chevrolet truck with the Z62 Custom C&C Equipment package cloth seat trim.

Its not one of the Highlander plaid patterns for sure plus it is on the seat frame that had the matching build sheet to my truck in between the foam and springs on an early 68 tilting seat frame making it not likely a later transplant.

Mine is the bright red option code 605 on the SPID listed as "red cloth trim". What was in the truck when I got it was most likely not original but here is a picture just in case. The vinyl looks much darker red on the seat back than it is on the sides due to years of dirt and grime. It is definitely a bright red color.

Anybody have literature or pictures of what the 605 red cloth trim seat upholstery is supposed to look like?

I believe it would look like these but red. You probably have the original seat and vinyl and someone replaced the inserts at one point.

agree w/68bowtie - would be exactly like those except with red vinyl and red cloth of same pattern/look. I'd imagine your vinyl is original and that someone just replaced the cloth inserts.

So, here's a red herring... I happened to have this oddball non-GM pic lying around...
