Very clean. I wouldn't mind driving it, although I might get tired of explaining the name on the side.

Nice truck.
I guess you could change your name and move to Illinois.

What an honest, unmolested truck that is. A rare find to say the least!

I can't find anything significant to pick apart on this 68.

I'd keep the name on there for kicks. I wonder what the inspiration was for putting that name on it.

Never seen an air pump on a 68 truck. My Dad's 68 SS Camaro had one. Was this a CARB or special altitude rating?

Re: 1968 Chevrolet C10 Golden Anniversary on BAT

AIR systems were common in California. Not sure what the requirements were in other states, though.

As far as I can tell, '68 manual transmission 1/2 ton trucks got AIR pumps nationwide. I think this rule holds true for 69 but may change in later years.

That's a nice truck, and the price wasn't out of line for what it is.

My '68 came with a smog pump on the L6. Worked as it should, but I have other plans. Turns out to be the perfect spot for the PS pump to go. Already has the correct pulley set up.

Ditto on the smog pump, my 68 LB had one as well - original 307 manual truck.
