February 2022 ToTM

Our February Truck of the Month (ToTM) contest theme is:

Fondue

Starting off our 2022 with an odd holiday; February 5, Chocolate Fondue Day. So with that in mind, since we can (or shouldn’t) eat our trucks, we will go with the chocolate or brown color theme To see what it takes to be a nominee this month, the truck will need to meet these criteria:
  • Open to all years and models of Trucks, Blazers, Suburbans, Tahoes, Yukons, and Jimmys.
  • The vehicle’s primary color must be a shade of Brown or Brown two-tone.
  • The vehicle nominated needs to belong to a board member during the time of the contest.
  • The must be together and able to move on its own power.
  • If a truck was selected as a 2021 ToTM winner then you are ineligible. If the truck was nominated but not selected as a ToTM winner then it may be nominated and compete in this month's category.
To Nominate:

You or someone else may nominate the vehicle. The nominee must be a board member and the current owner of the truck. Once you decide on who you wish to nominate, just add your nomination to this thread. We will need two pictures minimum with at least one full view of the vehicle and one showing it at its lowest state. In addition, we will need the owner’s board name and the Make/Model/Year of vehicle. I will PM the nominees to get any additional data or pictures if they have not already been provided. If the owner has a preferred picture they want used in the contest, please let me know in a PM. You can PM me for an e-mail address in case anyone has problems resizing the pictures for the board.

Nominations will run through January 24. The first 15 nominees that meet the criteria will participate in the contest. A Poll Thread will be set up January 25 in this board area and an announcement will be posted on the Discussion Boards to notify all that voting has begun. The Poll will run thru the morning of February 1 and the official announcement of the winner will be on the evening of February 1. The announcement of the ToTM winner will be posted through the General Discussion Board area.

Re: February 2022 ToTM

Does medium bronze-white-medium bronze count as a "brown" Chocolate Fondue? I think bronze is considered brown.... but I am crap with colors!

Right. I have a favorite perhaps for bias but they're both so nice.

Correction, all three and three generations too. We need another option for "undecided"

Re: February 2022 ToTM

I'll nominate my 1986 C10 Silverado. All original. My grandfather bought new in 1986 and passed it to my uncle when he passed away. I rescued it in 2016 after about 5 years of sitting from my uncles farm and brought it back to glory! Replaced tires, ignition module, ESC, Front brake hoses, rebuilt the carb, and did hours and hours of buffing and polishing to rescue the paint!

Re: February 2022 ToTM

Well, my dark camel 78 looks just like that chocolate fondue so I guess it qualifies.
