engine diagram help

ok i have an 82 c10 not sure if its a custom deluxe, scottsdale or silverado. it came with a 4.1L it now has a 350 which i pulled to do a LS swap. there is a bunch of wires that are cut and i want to see if i will need them later on down the road. ive looked at diagrams on here and nothing seems to match up with what i got. any idea how i can find the right diagram i need? when i print a engine diagram up, i go outside and the color wires dont match up or on the diagram they aint even listed.

Re: engine diagram help

i was having trouble but i figured out what was wrong, the truck had a 6 cylinder to start off with, someone swaped a 350 into it,so i was thinking since it had a 6 cylinder i should be going off the 6 cylinder diagram. well that wasnt the case. i guess they must have swapped the engine harness as well? any ways who knows. the problem im having now is, in the 8 cylinder engine diagram, i cant seem to find the wiring area where the wires come out the firewall and goes to the blower motor, resistor, and that relay. i looked on every diagram can someone help? its an 82 chevy c10 short bed. there is something on the diagram page 379, but it dont show were the wire comes from or even the right color wires. or where the wires go from the compressor

The HVAC wiring is not part of the engine harness. Here's a 82 C10 292 I6 with A/C HVAC diagram.

Around here this harness is easy to find in wreaking yards.
